  • 1 AND 1/2 LBS GROUND BEEF
  • 1 LARGE ONION CHOPPED
  • 1 CLOVE GARLIC
  • 1 tsp SALT
  • 1 CAN ORTEGA CHILIES DICED
  • 3 TBS CHILI POWDER
  • 2 EIGHT OZ TOMATOE SAUCE
  • 1 16OZ CAN CREAM CORN
  • 2 SMALL CANS SLICED BLACK OLIVES
  • 8 CORN TOTTILLAS
  • 3/4 CUP GRATTED CHEDDAR CHEESE

Step 1

IN LARGE SKILLET, BROWN MEAT, ONION AND GARLIC. ADD ALL INGREDIENTS EXCEPT TOTTILLAS AND CHEESE. USE JUICE FROM ONE CAN OF OLIVES; DRAIN JUICE FROM OTHER CAN. SIMMER FOR 10 MINUTES.
POUR INTO A GREASED 2 QT CASSEROLE. BREAK TOTTILLAS INTO BITE-SIZED PIECES; MIX INTO CASSEROLE. TOP WITH GRATED CHEESE AND BAKE IN 350 DEGREES OVER FOR 30-35 MINUTES. SERVES 6.
