Swedish Meatballs

Ingredients
- 1/2 lb ground beef
- 1/2 lb ground pork
- 3/4 cup plain breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1 small onion, grated
- 1/2 tsp allspice
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 4 tbsp butter
- 1 1/2 tbsp flour
- 1 cup chicken stock
- 1/2 cup sour cream

Step 1
In a large bowl, blend beef and pork. In a separate bowl, whisk together milk, egg, salt, pepper, nutmeg, allspice and onion. Mix milk mixture into meat mixture. Add breadcrumbs and mix well.
Preheat oven to 375 f. Take a sheet tray with raised sides and line with foil. Spray with nonstick spray. Roll meat into 1 inch balls. Place on sheet and bake 20 minutes.
In a large saucepan, melt butter on medium heat. Whisk in flour and cook 90 seconds. Add broth and sour cream, whisk until thickening. Stir in meatballs, cook 10 minutes stirring gently. Serve over rice, potatoes, or egg noodles.
