Creamy Cheesy Chicken in Crock pot (THM-S) 1 Picture

Ingredients

  • Extra optional ingredients for flavor:
  • 3-4 pounds boneless chicken breasts or thighs
  • sea salt
  • black pepper
  • 8-16 ounces Cream Cheese
  • 1 can green chili peppers
  • garlic powder or fresh minced garlic
  • grated cheese

Preparation

Step 1

Place chicken in bottom of crock pot. Season with salt & pepper. Lay cream cheese blocks on top. Add other ingredients as desired. Cook on High 3-4 hours or Low about 6-7 hours, or until done.
Sauce can be thickened up at the end with glucomanan powder or guar gum if desired.


*Note: Cream cheese turns into the perfect white creamy sauce in the crockpot as it merges with the natural juices from the chicken. Add other flavors as desired: garlic, green chilies or jalapenos, salsa, etc. Adding cheese is also good.
