Ingredients

  • 1 cup cranberries
  • 1 1/2 flour
  • 1 tsp soda
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 3/4 molasses - 1/4 cup white karo syrup
  • 1/2 cup boiling water

Preparation

Step 1

Mix dry ingredients; add cranberries; then liquid

I now put in bundt pan and in the rack below I put a cake pan of water. I put tin foil over the bundt pan - bake in 325 oven until cake is done.

Frosting:

1 cup sugar
1 ½ cup cream Bring ingredients to a boil - serve over a piece of cake
½ cup butter
1 tsp. vanilla
