Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 2 tsp poppy seeds
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp lemon peel
- 2/3 cup plain yogurt
- 1/3 cup butter, melted
- 1 egg, lightly beaten
- 1 egg yolk, beaten
- 3/4 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp almond extract
- 2 tbsp lemon juice*

Preparation
Step 1
1. In a bowl, combine the flour, sugar, poppy seeds, baking soda and lemon peel. Combine the remaining ingredients; stir into dry ingredients just until moistened.
2. Spoon into two greased 5x3" loaf pans. Bake at 350F for 35-40 mins or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. Cool for 5 mins before removing from pans to wire racks.
