Ingredients
- I box favorite pasta
- 8 slices bacon
- 1 half small onion diced
- 3 tablespoons flour
- 1 cup of water (that was used to cook pasta)
- 3 cups milk
- 1 tablespoon corn starch mixed with 1/4 cup water
- salt and pepper to taste
- 16 oz shredded smoked gouda cheese

Preparation
Step 1
Cook pasta in salted water and drain, reserving one cup of the water.
Cut bacon into medium sized strips and cook with diced onion. Drain half of oil and turn heat down to low. Add in flour stir and cook for two minutes. Add in water and milk slowly until incorporated. Add in salt and pepper and corn starch mixture. Turn the heat back up to medium and cook until it starts to thicken, about two to three minutes. Add in 12oz of the shredded gouda cheese. Add the cheese sauce to the pasta, put into casserole dish and cover with remaining cheese. Bake at 350 for 10 to 15 minutes.
