Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 egg
- 1/3 cup seasoned dry or fresh bread crumbs
- 3 tbsp olive or vegetable oil
- 1 medium onion
- 1 envelope Lipton Recipe Secrets Italian Herb w/ Tomato Soup Mix (can also use onion mushroom or beefy onion soup mix)
- 1 cup water
- 1 tbsp firmly packed brown sugar
- 1 tbsp red wine vinegar or white vinegar

Preparation
Step 1
In medium bowl, combine ground beef, egg and bread crumbs; shape into 16 (1 1/2 inch) meatballs. In 12-inch skillet, heat oil over medium heat and brown meatballs. Cover and continue cooking, stirring occasionally, 15 minutes or until meatballs are done. Remove meatballs and set aside.
In same skillet, add onion and cook 3 minutes. Stir in Italian her with tomato soup mix blended with water, brown sugar and vinegar. Bring to a boil over high heat. Reduce heat to low and return meatballs to skillet; heat through. Serve, if desired, over hot cooked noodles.
