Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup karo syrup
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda
  • 8 cups crispex cereal
  • 1 1/2 cups cashews ( or any nut you like)

Preparation

Step 1

In deep no-stick pot melt together karo syrup, butter and brown sugar. Bring to boil for 1 1/2 minutes. Take off heat and add vanilla and baking soda. Mix together, add cereal, and nuts. Stir together. Place mixture on baking sheet-spread out and break apart. Bake at 250 for 15 minutes. Let cool and place in air tight container to store.
