Ingredients

  • Peppar Kador (ginger cookies)
  • 1/2 lb. butter
  • 1 1/ cup sugar
  • 1 Tbs. molasses
  • 2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 egg
  • 3 1/4 cups flour
  • 2 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 2 tsp. ground ginger
  • 1 1/4 tsp. ground cloves

Step 1

Mix in order given. (sometimes I mix the dough and then refrigerate for a couple of hours. Makes it very easy to work with.) Roll out and cut in desired shape. Bake in moderate oven -about 350 degrees for six-seven minutes.

Will be very soft when taken out of oven, so I usually let them rest on the cookie tray for a minute or two before transferring to another tray...that way I have
fewer broken limbs!
