Lorrain's Brown Sugar Fudge
- 2 cups brown sugar
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 tsps corn syrup
- 1 tsp butter
- 1 cup sour cream or caned milk
- l teaspoon vanilla
Put everthing except vanilla in pan and cook slowly to a soft ball stage or
about; 235*·. Let set a few minutes to cool then beat until cold. add vanilla.
When candy is ready to pour it will turn dull, do not pour until it does or it
will not get hard enough.
For icing a spice cake,let it cool until it reaches 230*. If it gets to hard for
frosting add a little more cream, while beating.
