- 1/2 cup butter
- 2 cups firmly packed brown sugar
- 1 cup light corn syrup
- dash salt
- 1 can condensed milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla

Step 1
Melt butter in 2 quart saucepan; add brown sugar, corn syrup and salt. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until mixture comes to a full boil (10 to 12 minutes). Stir in condensed milk. Continue cooking, stirring occasionally, until reaches 245 degrees (20 to 25 minutes). Remove from heat; stir in vanilla.
