Ingredients

  • 1 cup oatmeal (Quaker long cooking)
  • 1 cup of buttermilk
  • 2 packages raisins (or 1/2-3/4 cup)
  • 30 grams wheat germ
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 t baking soda
  • 1 t baking powder
  • 1/8 t salt
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 stick butter

Preparation

Step 1

Beat egg and sugar together.
Add buttermilk with raisins that have soaked to softness.
Add oatmeal, mix together.
Mix wheat germ, soda, powder, salt, flour and butter.
Blend 1 cup melted butter
Grease muffin pans and bake at 400 degrees for 12-15 minutes.
