Grandma Caroline's Dark Chocolate Icing

The perfect topping for cakes, brownies, or anything that needs a touch of sweet.

Ingredients

• 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
• 1 Cup granulated Sugar
• 1/2 Cup milk
• 1/2 Cup water or coffee
• 2 squares bitter chocolate
• 1 Tbsp. butter

Preparation

Step 1

In a sauce pan combine cornstarch and sugar. Add milk and water and stir until dissolved. Add chocolate squares and cook on medium heat until melted. Remove from heat and beat in butter. Let cool, stirring occasionally.
