TEXAS SHEET CAKE FROM NANA

Ingredients

• 2 sticks of margarine
• 1 cup water
• 4 Tablespoons of coco
• 2 cups sugar
• 2 cups flour
• ½ teaspoon salt
• 1 teaspoon soda
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 2 eggs
• ½ cup sour milk or cream

Preparation

Step 1

Bring to a boil margarine, water and coco. Add all at the same time sugar, flour, salt, soda and vanilla. Cream well then add eggs and cream. (I mix it in all in the pan.)
Bake 20 minutes on cookie sheet at 350 degrees ice at once.


ICING

1 stick margarine
6 Tablespoons milk
4 Tablespoons coco
1 box powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup nutmeats chopped, if you want

Bring margarine, milk and coco to a boil then add powdered sugar, vanilla and nuts.
Smooth onto cake. I sprinkle the nuts on top.
