Ingredients
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 1/4 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup packed dark brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 2 1/2 cups bittersweet chocolate chunks
- 1 cup coarsely chopped unsalted nuts (mixed, walnut, macadamia, etc)

Step 1
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Combine flour, salt and baking soda in a small bowl. Set aside.
Using a mixer, cream butter, both sugars and vanilla until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
Add flour mixture in 1/2 cup increments, mixing at low speed until incorporated. Stir in chocolate chunks and nuts by hand.
Drop rounded teaspoonfuls onto non-stick baking sheet and bake until golden brown, about 9 minutes. Let cook on baking sheet.
