Ingredients

  • 1 Filet of Beef - Well trimmed and tied)
  • (Keep meat together and same size)
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • Kosher Salt
  • Black pepper

Preparation

Step 1

Season tenderloin liberally with KOSHER salt and black pepper. Heat pan to HIGH then add oil to pan. Cook tenderloin on all sides turning every 2 minutes or so.

Put in oven @325 uncovered for 10-15 minutes.

Take out of oven at 120 and let rest AT LEAST 20 minutes. After resting it should be at 140 degrees for medium.

Put in oven for 5 minutes just before serving.

Serve with Pepper or bordelaise sauce.
