Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 (.25oz) packages active dry yeast
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 3/4 cup warm water (110F)
  • 1 1/2 cups buttermilk, room temperature
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 6 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

Preparation

Step 1

1. Combine ingredients in the pan of a bread maker. Select dough setting.

2. Divide the dough into two equal pieces and form into loaves. Place the loaves into two lightly greased 9x5" loaf pans. Cover with a damp cloth and let rise until doubled in volume, about 40 mins.

3. Bake at 375F for about 25 mins or until the tops are golden.
