Ingredients
- 4 lg eggs
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 cups half-and-half
- 1 teasp vanilla
- 1/4 teasp nutmeg
- 1/8 teasp salt
- 1 9 inch unbaked pie shell

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 450 degrees
Beat eggs & sugar, then add half & half, beat smooth.
Add vanilla, salt & nutmeg.
Pour into pie shell sitting on a baking sheet.
Bake for 10 minutes.
REDUCE HEAT to 325 degrees & bake 35-40 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
Let cool before serving.
