Ingredients

  • 3 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 1 teasp salt
  • 1 cup grated cheddar cheese
  • 1 pkg dry yeast
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 lg eggs

Preparation

Step 1

Stir together 1 1/2 cup flour and yeast.

Heat milk, oil, sugar & salt over low heat.

Stirring to blend, add liquid ingredients to flour and yeast.

Blend until smooth.

Divide dough into 3 equal parts.

Grease 3 1lb coffee cans. Place batter into coffee cans & cover with plastic lids.

Let rise 1 hour.

Place coffee cans on a baking sheet & place in pre-heated oven.

Bake @375 degrees for 30-35 minutes.

Let cool in can 15 minutes before removing.
