Ingredients

  • 16 cups tomatoes (canned, chopped or frozen)
  • 4 cups onions (chopped)
  • 1/4 cup jalapeno peppers (finely chopped)
  • 2 toes garlic (chopped finely)
  • 2 1/2 cups distilled white vinegar
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup pickling salt
  • 1 1/2 tblsp chili pepper

  • black pepper
  • 2 2
  • tblsp
  • cominos seed
  • 1 1
  • tblsp
  • alum
  • 1 1
  • sml can
  • tomato paste

Preparation

Step 1

Combine all ingredients together in a large pan and cook 1 1/2 hours, stirring occasionally to keep from sticking.

Ladle into hot sterilized jars, add lids & rims.

Process covered in hot boiling water for 20 minutes.

Remove & cool until sealed.

Refrigerate after opening.
