Ingredients

  • 2 pkg cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 1/4 sticks butter (softened & divided)
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar (divided)
  • 2 teasp vanilla (divided)
  • 2 pkg crescent rolls or 2 pkg seamless dough
  • 1/2 teasp ground cinnamon

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees; spray 9" X 13" baking dish.

In a large bowl, combine cream cheese & 4 tblsp butter; beat until creamy.

Gradually beat in 1 cup of sugar, then beat in 1 teasp vanilla.

Unroll 1 pkg of crescent rolls, do not separate, place in bottom of baking dish.

Stretch dough to edges of pan, pressing to seal perforations.

Spread cream cheese mixture evenly over dough.

Unroll remaining crescent rolls on lightly floured surface.

Shape into 9" X 13" rectangle, pressing dough to seal perforations.

Position dough on top of cream cheese mixture.

In a small saucepan, melt remaining 6 tblsp butter, stir in remaining 1/2 cup sugar, 1 teasp vanilla & cinnamon.

Pour mixture evenly over dough.

Bake @350 degrees for 30 minutes or until light brown & puffy.

Cool before cutting into squares.
