Asparagus & Pea Casserole 1 Picture

Ingredients

  • 1 can asparagus spears (drained)
  • 1 can English peas (drained)
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can water chestnuts (chopped) (optional)
  • 5 slices American or Velvetta Cheese
  • 6 slices bread (cubed)
  • 2 tblsp butter (melted)

Preparation

Step 1

Place drained asparagus in the bottom of a sprayed casserole dish.

Combine together peas, soup & water chestnuts (if wanted).

Pour on top of asparagus.

Top with cheese.

In a small bowl, melt butter and toss bread cubes in butter.

Place buttered bread on top of cheese.

Bake @350 degrees approximately 30 or until bubbly & bread is browned.
