Asparagus & Pea Casserole

Ingredients
- 1 can asparagus spears (drained)
- 1 can English peas (drained)
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 can water chestnuts (chopped) (optional)
- 5 slices American or Velvetta Cheese
- 6 slices bread (cubed)
- 2 tblsp butter (melted)

Preparation
Step 1
Place drained asparagus in the bottom of a sprayed casserole dish.
Combine together peas, soup & water chestnuts (if wanted).
Pour on top of asparagus.
Top with cheese.
In a small bowl, melt butter and toss bread cubes in butter.
Place buttered bread on top of cheese.
Bake @350 degrees approximately 30 or until bubbly & bread is browned.
