Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups flour
- 2 sticks cold butter, cut into 8 pieces
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 teasp salt
- 4 lg eggs
- 1 1/2 cups light or dark Karo syrup
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 3 tblsp butter (melted)
- 1 1/2 teasp vanilla
- 2 1/2 cups pecan halves or coarsely chopped pecans

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Spray a 15" jelly roll pan with Pam.
In large bowl with mixer beat flour, cold butter, sugar & salt until mixture resembles fine crumbles.
Press firmly into prepared pan.
Bake 20-23 minutes or until light golden brown.
Top with filling.
In large bowl beat eggs, corn syrup, sugar, butter & vanilla until well blended.
Stir in pecans.
Immediately pour over hot crust, spread evenly.
Bake 25 minutes or until filling is firm around edges and slightly firm in center.
Cool completely.
Cut into 2 inch bars.
