Ingredients

  • 2 cups lukewarm water
  • 2 pkg dry yeast
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teasp salt
  • 3 tblsp shortening
  • 5 cups flour

Preparation

Step 1

Dissolve yeast in lukewarm water.

Mix sugar and salt and mix well.

Gradually add 5 cups flour and shortening and knead about 5 minutes.

Let rise until doubled in size.

Make into loaf or rolls or cinnamon rolls.

Bake at 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes for rolls or cinnamon rolls or 1 hour for loaf.
