Fantastic French Toast

Ingredients

• 2 eggs
• 3/4 cup milk
• 1 tablespoon sugar
• 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon or vanilla extract
• 8 slices your favorite bread
• 2 tablespoons butter
• Maple-flavored syrup

Preparation

Step 1

1.Beat the eggs, milk, sugar and cinnamon in a 2-quart shallow baking dish with a fork or whisk. Add the bread slices in batches and turn to coat.

2.Heat 1 tablespoon butter in a 12-inch skillet over medium heat. Add the bread slices in batches and cook until they're lightly browned on both sides, adding more butter if needed during cooking. Serve the toast with the syrup.
