Ingredients

  • 1 3oz pkg cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 stick butter (softened)
  • 1 cup flour
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 med-lg egg
  • 1 tblsp butter (melted)
  • 1 teasp vanilla
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped pecans
  • 1 teasp salt

Preparation

Step 1

Mix cream cheese, butter & flour; chill in refrigerator 45 minutes.

Spray muffin tin with Pam & preheat oven to 375 degrees.

Make filling by creaming together brown sugar & egg, then add butter, vanilla, salt & pecans.

Take dough from refrigerator & form small balls; press into tins (press pastry a little above the rim of the tin, so that the filling does not run over the top when cooking).

Pour mixture into each tin.

Bake @375 degrees for 20-25 minutes.

Let cool in pans on cooling rack.

Turn tins upside down, they should fall out easier on to cooling rack.

Store in airtight container at room temperature.
