Ingredients
- 2 pkg of 4 short cakes, white or yellow cake
- 2 pints strawberries (washed & stemmed)
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 lg Cool Whip

Preparation
Step 1
In a large bowl, slice clean, stemmed strawberries.
Pour sugar on top.
Place in refrigerator overnight. Strawberries will make their own juice.
Next day, stir strawberries.
Place a shortcake in an individual serving bowl.
Top with strawberries & juice.
Top with whip cream.
