Ingredients

  • 2 sticks butter
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 t vanilla
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 t baking powder
  • 1/4 t salt
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 t cinnamon
  • 4 t sugar

Preparation

Step 1

Cream butter.
Stir in sugar and beat until light and fluffy.
Add eggs, beating well after each.
Fold in sour cream.
Add vanilla.
Sift together and add the flour, baking powder and salt.
Combine pecans, cinnamon and sugar.
Place 1/3 batter into well greased and floured 9 inch tube pan.
Sprinkle 3/4 of pecan mixture in.
Spoon in remaining batter.
Sprinkle on remaining pecan mixture.
Bake at 350 degrees.
