Ingredients

  • A selection of veg to your liking:
  • small bunch of big soy bean sprouts
  • 5 dried shiitake/chinese mushrooms, soaked and cut into thin slices
  • a small handful of gosari or fernbrake, cut into 4cm long
  • 1/2 cucumber, cut into thin julienne strips
  • 1/2 carrot, in thin julienne strips
  • 1 small zucchini, in thin slices
  • 1 small bunch of spinach
  • Bom_Na_Muh (Korean SPring Mix)
  • Do-Ra-Ji (Root Veggie)
  • Tofu
  • Eggs
  • 5 Grain Rice
  • Gochujang sauce (sometimes spelled Kochujang)
  • Sesame Oil
  • Sesame Seed

Preparation

Step 1

* Blench and season each vegetables of Choice, set aside.
* Precook Rice
* Add about an inch of cooked rice to the bottom & side of the Stonebowl.
Cook it on Stove top at low heat for about 10~15 minutes. Remove from heat.
* Put veggies on top of rice but place separately so you can see each ingredient beautifully placed on rice. * Put egg on top. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and drizzle with sesame oil and soy sauce.
* When ready to eat, mix all ingredients together with some gochuchang paste, to taste.
*The bibimpap should be moist and not dry.
