Ingredients
- 3/4 cup brown sugar firmly packed
- 2 tblsp corn starch
- 1/4 teasp salt
- 2 cups milk
- 2 lg egg yolks (slightly beaten)
- 3 tblsp butter
- 1 teasp vanilla

Preparation
Step 1
In a medium sauce pan blend sugar, cornstarch & salt.
Add milk.
Cook & whisk over medium heat until thickened and bubbly.
Cook, whisking constantly 2 more minutes.
Remove from heat stir small amount of hot mixture into the egg yolks.
Return mixture & egg to hot mixture in pan.
Cook whisking constantly 2 more minutes.
Remove from heat, whisk in butter & vanilla
Lay a piece of wax paper directly on top of pudding to prevent a hard skin from forming.
Chill & serve
