Ingredients
- 1 20 oz can Crushed Pineapple with Juice
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 tblsp corn starch
- 1/4 teasp salt
- 1 tblsp butter
- 1 tblsp lemon juice
- 1 9 inch Double pie crust
Details
Preparation
Step 1
Combine pineapple, sugar, cornstarch and salt in a saucepan.
Cook stirring until thickened & clear.
Stir in butter & lemon juice. Let cool.
Pour filling into unbaked pie shell.
Cut remaining pastry into 1 inch wide strips for lattice top.
Weave strips crisscross over pie to make lattice top. Pinch edges
Bake @400 degrees 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
