Ingredients

  • 1 Shoulder or Arm Roast
  • 1 large Onion
  • 1 pkg Pot Roast Seasoning Mix
  • 4 cups Water
  • 1 glass cold water
  • 2 tblsp corn starch

Preparation

Step 1

Rub roast with seasoning mix on both sides.

Place roast in deep roasting pan or dish with water.

Cut onion into quarters and place in pot.

Put roast in pre-heated 350 degree oven, reduce temperature immediately to 250 degree.

Cook for 4-5 hours.

When roast is done, pour liquid off of roast and into a medium sauce pan.

Bring liquid to a boil.

Prepare 1 glass of water with 2 tblsp of cornstarch & mix together.

Whisk cornstarch mixture into boiling liquid until thickened. Pour gravy over roast or serve on the side.
