Ingredients
- 1 cup sugar
- 3/4 cup butter (softened)
- 1 lg egg
- 2 tblsp water
- 1 1/2 teasp vanilla
- 3 cups 3 Minute Quick Oatmeal
- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 teasp salt
- 1/2 teasp baking soda
- 1 teasp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teasp ground nutmeg
- 1/3 cup raisins
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
In a large mixing bowl, cream together sugar, butter, egg, water & vanilla.
In a separate bowl, mix oatmeal, flour, salt, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, raisins & walnuts.
Mix into creamed mixture; let mixture stand for 5 minutes.
Form balls & place on sprayed cookie sheet 2 inches apart; press ball down slightly with a fork.
Bake @350 degrees for 12-15 minutes.
Store in airtight container.
