Ingredients

• 3/4 cup flour
• 1/4 tsp. baking soda
• 1/4 tsp. salt
• 1/3 cup butter
• 3/4 cup sugar
• 2 tbsp. water
• 6 oz chocolate chips
• 1 tsp. vanilla
• 2 eggs
• 1/2 chopped nuts

Preparation

Step 1

In small bowl, combine flour,soda and salt.
In small saucepan, combine butter, sugar and water: bring just to a boil.
Remove from heat and add chips and vanilla.
Stir until chips melt and mixture is smooth.
Transfer to a large bowl, add eggs one at a time, beating well after each. Gradually blend in flour mixture. Add nuts.
Spread in greased in 9" square pan.
Bake in 325 degree oven for 30 minutes.
