Ingredients
- 4 Tb coconut oil or butter (or a combo of both)
- 6 Tbs honey or grade b maple syrup
- 2 1/2 cups milk
- 6 cups bread flour
- 2 cups oats
- 4 tsp yeast

Preparation
Step 1
Mix ingredients in a stand mixer speed 1 for 10 min & speed 2 for 10-15 min or in a bread machine on dough cycle
Take dough from mixer & slap knead it until smooth, put in a bowl, cover & let rest for 2-3 hours
Take dough from rest or bread machine & punch down, shape into 4-5 round boules or same number of rectangle shaped loaves. Put in either round bakers, baskets lined with floured linen or loaf pans cover and let rest for 1-3 hours. Score the loaves and brush w/ cornstarch wash, sprinkle with oats and bake in steamed oven at 375 degrees for 10 min then lower the temp to 350 degrees for 20-30 min.
Remove from the oven & cool on racks
