Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 c.onion chopped
- 1/2 t. minced garlic
- 3- 8 oz. tomato sauce
- 1 t. salt
- 1/2 t pepper
- 1 t. sugar
- 1/4 t. basil
- 1 T parsley flakes
- 4 1/2 c. water
- pinch of thyme & oregano
- 8 oz. uncooked spaghetti
- grated cheese

Preparation
Step 1
In a large pan, cook beef, onions & garlic until meat is brown & onions soft. Add remaining ingredients. except spaghetti & cheese. Bring to a boil, and add spaghetti which has been broken into 4-5 in. pieces. Stir with a fork to keep from sticking together. Return to boiling and boil for 18 min. stirring frequently. Top with cheese when serving.
