Ingredients
- 3 egg whites
- 1/4 t cream of tartar
- 2/3 - 3/4 c sugar

Preparation
Step 1
Separate eggs when cold
Let whites warm to room temperature
Add cream of tartar
Add sugar 1 T at a time
Soft meringue: 1/2 T sugar
Hard meringue: 4-5 T sugar
Cook on pie about 12 minutes at 350 degrees
