Ingredients

  • 2/3 c. Flour
  • 2 tsp. Cream of tarter
  • 1 tsp. Baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp. Salt
  • 8 tlb. Butter (1 stick)
  • 1/2 c. Pure vegetable shortening
  • 1 1/2 c. Sugar (1/4c. for topping + 2tlb. Cinnamon)
  • 2 Eggs

Step 1

Sift dry ingredients
Combine butter, shortening, and 1 1/2c. sugar. Beat on medium until light and fluffy. Add eggs and beat to combine. Add dry ingredients and beat to combine.

Use small ice cream scoop to form balls of dough. Roll in sugar and cinnamon mixture. Bake at 400 degrees until cookies are set in and begin to crack. They will not be brown.
