Melting Moments Snowball Cookies

Ingredients

• 1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened
• 1/2 cup confectioners' sugar
• 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 3/4 cup Clabber Girl Cornstarch
• 1 cup all-purpose flour
• 1/4 teaspoon salt
• confectioners' sugar for garnish

Preparation

Step 1

In a large bowl cream the butter and sugar; add vanilla extract. stir in flour, cornstarch and salt. Mix until thoroughly combined and chill for 1 hour.

Preheat oven to 375° F.; prepare a cookie sheet by lining with wax paper or spraying with cooking spray.

Shape into 1-inch balls and place on baking sheet. Bake at 375° for about 10 minutes.

Cool on wire cooling rack for 10 to 15 minutes, then roll in confectioners' sugar until thoroughly coated.

Store in covered container.
