Ingredients

  • 1 14oz pkg light caramels (about 50)
  • 1/3 C evaporated milk
  • 1 pkg Pillsbury German Chocolate Cake Mix
  • 3/4 C butter, melted
  • 1/3 C evaporated milk
  • 1 C chopped nuts
  • 1 6oz pkg Choc Chips

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350*. Grease and flour 9X13 pan (smaller pan for thicker brownies). Combine caramels and 1/3 C evaporated milk and heat until melted. Keep warm. Mix cake mix, melted butter, 1/3 C evaporated milk and nuts. Press 1/2 dough into prepared pan. Bake @ 350 for 10-15min. Sprinkle with choc chips, spread caramel mixture over all, crumble reserved dough on top. Bake again for 15-20min. Cool.
