Arroz con Salchichas or Rice with Vienna Sausages

Ingredients
- 2-3 tablespoons canola oil
- 3 cubes sofrito or 3 tablespoons sofrito
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 handful cilantro, chopped
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 envelope Goya Sazon con culantro y achiote
- Salt to taste
- 3 cups long grain rice
- 3 cans Vienna sausage, cut in half (with liquid)

Preparation
Step 1
In a large pot, heat oil on medium-high. Mix in sofrito, garlic, cilantro, oregano and cumin. Saute until sofrito changes to a darker color and until cooked. Sprinkle in sazon and salt and stir until all is mixed. Add rice and sausages making sure is all coated with the sofrito and oil and mixed. Add water until about 1 inches above rice. Taste to adjust salt as needed. Heat until boiling on medium-high about 4 minutes. Reduce heat to low. Cook for about 20 minutes, stirring halfway. Serve.
