Ingredients
- 4 cups cut up fresh broccoli
- 1 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp canola oil
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tsp cider vinegar
- 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
- Pinch of hot pepper flakes
- 2-4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup chopped unslated cashews

Preparation
Step 1
In a steamer, or in a large pot, with three contimetres of water at the bottom, cover and steam the broccoli for about six or seven minutes, until tender-crisp. Drain and put broccoli into a wide, shallow serving dish.
Bring everything else to a boil in a small pot, stirring constantly with a fork, then remove from the heat. Pour the sauce over the broccoli and serve immediately.
