Ingredients
- 1 1/2 sticks butter
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 2 cups flour
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tsp baking powder
- topping;
- 5 tbsp brown sugar
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts

Step 1
cream butter and sugar well;add eggs and cream. fold in sour cream and vanilla. sift flour. baking powder, add salt. fold in cream mixture. spoon half of mixture into 8 x 8 or 9inch round aluminum pan. sprinkle half combined topping ingredients. spoon over rest of cake batter and sprinkle on remaining topping ingredients. bake 55 min to an hour in 325 oven.
