Ingredients

  • 1/2 Lb. Bacon, sliced & diced
  • 1/2 Lb. Ground beef
  • 1 C. Onion, chopped
  • 1 Cn Pork and beans,(28oz)
  • 1 Cn Kidney beans, rinsed & drained,(16oz)
  • 1 Cn Lima beans,(151/4oz)
  • 1/2 C Barbecue sauce
  • 1/2 C Ketchup
  • 1/2 C Sugar
  • 1/2 C Packed brown sugar
  • 2 T Mustard
  • 2 T Molasses
  • 1 t Salt
  • 1/2 t Chili powder

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350. In a large skillet, cook bacon, beef and onion until meat is no longer pink and onion is tender; drain. Transfer to a greased 2½ qt. baking dish; add all of the beans and mix well. In a small bowl, combine the remaining ingredients; stir into beef and bean mixture. Cover and bake for 45 minutes. Uncover; bake 15 minutes longer.
