Ingredients

1 c brown sugar
1/2 c Crisco
1 egg1/2
t baking soda1
/2 t baking powder
1/4 t salt
1 t vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

Add:1 c flour, 1 c oatmeal (don't use instant) and 1/2 c chopped nuts (opt.)

Drop on ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 350* for 12-15 minutes. I like to use a cookie scoop, so all the cookies are the same size. :) I use a Silpat Baking Mat to bake all of my cookies.
