Ingredients
- 4 cups of flour
- 4 Tbsp or 1/4 cup of sugar
- 1 & 1/2 tsp of baking soda
- 1 tsp of baking powder
- 1 tsp of salt
- 1 1/2 cups of raisins
- 2 1/2 Tbsp of caraway seeds
- 1 & 1/3 cups of buttermilk (or reg. milk)
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 stick of butter (4 Tbsp) (melted)

Preparation
Step 1
Butter & flour a 9 inch round or square pan.
In a large bowl, mix together all dry ingredients.
Then in a smaller bowl, mix together the remaining (wet) ingredients.
Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients.
Form bread into a round shape & cut a cross in the center of the loaf using a floured butter knife.
Bake for approximately 45-50 minutes @ 375.
