  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/4 c uncooked long grain rice
  • 1/4 to 1/2 tsp salt
  • 10 3/4 oz can tomato soup, divided
  • 1 T butter
  • 1 c water

Step 1

1. Combine ground beef, rice, salt, and 1/4 c tomato soup in a medium bowl. Shape beef mixture into 1 1/2 inch balls.
2. Brown meatballs in 2 T butter in a large nonstick skillet, being careful not to crowd them. (Brown in batches if necessary.)
3. Place meatballs in slow cooker.
4. Combine 1 c water and remaining tomato soup in bowl. Pour soup mixture over meatballs.
5. Cover and cook on high 2-4 hours or until rice is fully cooked.
