Ingredients

  • 1

    cup lt corn syrup

  • 1

    cup shortening

  • ½

    tsp salt

  • 1

    tsp clear vanilla

  • 2

    # confectioners sugar

Directions

1-In bowl of stand mixer, combine syrup, shortening, salt and vanilla. Mix well. 2-Gradually add 10x sugar. 3-Switch to dough hook. 4-Continue to add sugar, finish working in sugar by dumping fondant onto work surface and knead. 5-Add color to finished fondant.
