Ingredients
- 1 cup butter
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 3/4 cup cocoa
- 4 eggs
- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup chopped nuts
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- Frosting
- 6 tablespoons butter softened
- 6 tablespoons cocoa
- 2 tablespoons light corn syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 cups confectioners sugar
- 2 tablespoon milk

Preparation
Step 1
heat oven to 350*
butter 13X9 baking pan
melt butter in large saucepan over low heat
remove from heat and stir in sugar, vanilla, and cocoa
add eggs, beating well after each addition
add dry ingredients making sure everything is well mixed
pour batter into prepared pan and bake for 30-35 minutes until brownies begin to pull away from sides of pan
cool completely on wire rack befor spreading frosting
frosting
in a small bowl cream butter, cocoa, corn syrup and vanilla
add confectioners sugar and milk
beat to spreading consistency, adding a bit more milk if needed
spread over cooled brownies
