Chocolate Chip Cake Mix Cookies

Ingredients
- 1 (18.25 ounce) package of yellow cake mix
- 1/3 cup butter or margarine, softened
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Step 1
1.Preheat oven to 350F degrees. Line cookie sheets with parchment paper for best results. Alternatively use ungreased cookie sheets.
2.In a large bowl beat half of the dry cake mix, butter, vanilla, and eggs with an electric mixer on medium speed until well-blended and smooth, 1 to 2 minutes.
3.Stir in the remaining dry cake mix, chocolate chips, and nuts (if using) with a wooden spoon, just until combined.
4.Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls approximately 2 inches apart onto prepared cookie sheets.
5.Bake for 10 to 13 minutes, or just until the edges are set but the centers are still soft.
6.Remove from the oven and cool the cookies on the cookie sheet for about 1 minute and then transfer the cookies to a wire rack to cool completely.
